Funded as an ONG (Social Promotion Association) on May, 30th, 2008, and based in the Augustinian Convent of San Giacomo Maggiore in Bologna, the Centro Studi Cherubino Ghirardacci arose to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and research, to offer a meeting point for people and knowledge.

 

The organization is focused on three main goals: the first one, fostering free and positive cultural exchange for a more effective understanding of the social, cultural, and scientific phenomena; the second one, promoting cultural initiatives and activities that may contribute to a better understanding of complex social phenomena through an exchange of knowledge and point of view; and the third one, promoting publications with a rigorous scientific nature, collaborating with national and international research, study and cultural bodies.
